On September 10th PoP held a rally Sunday not only as a kickoff for the start of Sunday School once again for the children, but used the event as an opportunity to energize the entire congregation. Pop had its first service that included a hot breakfast and Bible trivia questions sprinkled throughout the morning service. [...]

On July 16, 2017, Prince of Peace members gathered with family and friends to have a good old fashioned fish fry. All the fish were supplied by the Roush family, and everyone brought sides and desserts to share.
On June 18, 2017, Pastor Joan officially became Reverend Joan. Some of the PoP congregation traveled to Chicago to take part in the ceremony held at Joan's home church.
